About Us

Shantaylah Lodge Riding Centre commenced in October 2000, when two friends decided to join forces and begin a business that they truly loved and enjoyed. To build a business around horses was not a new thing for either of us, as we have both been showing horses competitively since a very young age with our families all over Australia. We have achieved many major successes within the show horse industry and as youngsters have also been involved in different areas of equestrian sport like dressage, pony club and eventing. We work together but provide our services from two properties in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, which gives our clients a choice of area that they prefer to travel to.

We both felt that there was such a high call for someone in the equestrian industry to focus not only on training their own horses for success and teaching adults the fine art of riding, but to provide young children with the same benefits. We cater for people with a love of horses who are not fortunate to be able to have a horse of their own.

We have several horses within our show team that are currently competing, along with horses that we show by request of clients. We also provide private tuition to both children and adults from beginner to the more advanced levels of riding.
